IRCTC Principal Service Provider

 

Principal Service Provider is the Service Provider appointed to be in charge of other lead Service Providers.The E-Ticketing Service providers assigned by IRCTC for reserved rail e-ticketing service will be referred to as IRCTC Principal Service Provider (PSPs) .No API Integration will take place as IRCTC agents are website agents who book the packages directly from the website through the same Login ID and password issued for e-ticketing.

All RSPs of IRCTC Principle Service Providers of Internet café scheme will be Integrated through a separate RDS created for Tourism Package Booking.Agents will get allowed to sell the Tourism Products listed above through online and will be getting commission on cut and Pay basis.

The separate Tourism Web service API will be provided to Principal Service Providers (PSPs) scheme for Integration.Separate RDS account for  the Tourism Package booking will be created.Principal Service Provider can provide the Tourism Package Booking facility to all their existing active RSPs through API.

In General –

      E-ticketing PSPs under the scheme will be integrated with IRCTC Tourism products through Web services .

      PSP can register its e-ticketing Retail Service Providers (RSPs) for Tourism IRCTC Principle  Service Provider  under B2B and Internet Cafe Schemes.

      Only active RSPs will be scheduled as the IRCTC Tourism Sales Agents i.e. RSPs who are avoided or deactivated or suspended or not verified or the pending verification, will not be acceptable for appointment for IRCTC Tourism services.

      Principal Service Provider will issue an Authorisation Certificate to its RSPs registered to sell the IRCTC Tourism Products, for displaying at its registered location.

      RSPs were permitted to display their sign boards along with IRCTC Logo.

       IRCTC logo should not be used in types of cards like- Visiting Cards, Letterheads, and Pamphlets or in any other forms unless sanctioned by IRCTC.

       Separate RDS account should be maintained by IRCTC for making advance payment for booking IRCTC Tourism Products.

       Minimum balance of Rs.40,000 is to be maintained in RDS Account.

       The term of the IRCTC Tourism service will be as per the term of e-ticketing service agreement.

There are other Terms and conditions .They are-

If the agent has their own website, then he/she should preferably promote IRCTC Tourism Products through his website.

In case, if any agent is found to be involved in any illegal or fraudulent activity, his appointment shall be canceled by IRCTC Principle Service Provider and appropriate legal action will be initiated.

The above policy and commission structure are responsible for the  changes as decided by the management from time to time.

It is not a difficult task to become an IRCTC agent. IRCTC issues the business license through its key agents. Several websites are approved  to name authorized e-Ticketing agents. Upon the  positive registration, agents will be issued with a special login ID and a  portal will handle all the forms of travel items such as train  reservations, domestic & international flight reservations, holiday packages, tours, money transfers etc.
